This notice explains how X FROSTY AI BOT (Frosty) collects, uses and protects data when you use the website, dashboard, tutor and trading engines.

1. What we collect

We only collect the minimum information needed to run the platform:

  • Account details - email address, hashed password, basic profile settings.
  • Trading configuration - chosen symbols, risk settings, strategy notes and engine state.
  • Broker connection metadata - references to your broker accounts and API tokens. Raw credentials are stored only on the backend and are never shown in the browser.
  • Usage data - log events, error traces and anonymised statistics to keep the system stable.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used to power the service, not to sell profiles:

  • Authenticate you and keep your sessions secure.
  • Run the trading engine according to your configuration and track performance.
  • Improve the brains and risk models using aggregated, anonymised statistics.
  • Send important notifications about account security, platform changes or critical incidents.

3. Third-party services

Frosty connects to several third-party providers:

  • Broker APIs (for example Deriv) to stream prices and place trades on your own accounts.
  • News and data APIs (Massive, FX news providers) to understand market context.
  • Cloud media storage (for tutor images and videos).
  • OpenAI-style language models for tutor answers and strategy notes.

These providers receive only the data required to perform their function. We do not sell your personal data to marketing lists.

4. How long we keep data

Trading logs and journal entries may be stored for as long as your account is active so you can review your history. If you close your account, we may retain limited records where required by law or for security and abuse-prevention.

5. Your choices

  • Update profile details and risk settings from the dashboard.
  • Disconnect or rotate broker API tokens at any time.
  • Request that your account be closed and most data deleted from active systems.

6. Security

We treat trading data as sensitive. Access to backend systems is restricted, credentials are stored securely and connections are encrypted. No system is perfect, but protecting your account and data is a core design principle of Frosty.
